butterfly in the stomach

  1. it describes a physical condition in which the person feels like there's butterfly in his stomach. A good example of this is riding a roller coaster. when the roller coaster drops in a sharp vertical angle, a person feels like hes being dropped and he experience a state of butterfly in his stomach caused by this anxiety and fear of being dropped.
