is a widely varying term for someone who is older, and usually retired. This can be as young as 55 and all the way over 100. Some people believe elderly is in the eye of the beholder.
Old folks. There is a lot to be learned from them as they have experience, know-how, and can remember when. It's true that they have usually passed the beautiful to look at stage but they have more to offer than mere looks. They have knowledge and wisdom that we all would do well to acknowledge. Here in the United states many people see older people as having nothing to contribute to society. This is not the case. They have a great deal to contribute in wisdom alone. Many consider them a burden. Sure they may need a little extra care from time to time but don't we all? It is from their past that we have our future. Ever think of that?
