A container of various sizes used as a game piece in the worldwide game of Geocaching. All containers must contain a log book and the Geocaching statement. Players hide the container then post the latitude and longitude on the official Geocache web page. Other players download the coordinates then search for the hidden cache using a handheld GPS reciever. If the container is found, the finder signs his/her name and rehides the cache where they found it. Many times small trinkets are traded in the larger sized containers.
