runny nose

  1. is a medical term for Rhinorrhoea. it is from greek word 'rhinos' meaning of the nose and 'rhobia' meaning a flowing. this health problem usually occur on cold days and having changing weather and temperature.

  2. chronic condition among school children - brought on by cold playgrounds and lack of heating in the classroom. can be remedied temporarily by wiping the nose with a handkerchief, tissue or a jacket sleeve. if not remedied, the mucus tends to accumulate on the upper lip which some school children are then able to lick off with their tongue and a smile. such children are referred to as 'snotty little buggers'.

  3. IT IS ONE OF THE MEDICAL TERM. It is a symptom of the common cold and of allergies (hay fever). IT IS ALSO CALLED AS Rhinorrhea. THIS TERM COMES FROM THE GREEK. THIS IS NOT DANGEROUS BUT WE GET HURT BECAUSE OF FEVER. The discharge may be coloured or thick as a result of conditions such as sinusitis.
