A plant which grows at the bottom of the sea or a lake. Actually, it grows in any body of water. There are many different species of seaweed and some can cause havoc in the ecosystem of the body of water it is in.

as the name suggests its a plant that is seen in the sea, you go searching for it in your garden or in your neighbours garden who claim to have almost every species of plant in her garden , you wont find it there.
go for an under water adventure of even switch on to the national georaphic or animal planet channel on your tv , you will definitly get to see one and not one more than one.
the fish in the sea sometime feed on this seaweed and sometimes find it as a hiding place to hide from its predators. the seaweeds grow under sea and make an essential part of a sea.
