1. television or tv is an electronic device that allows the user to see images of things from a far place away. watching television has become one of the most popular past time for the 21st century. People can watch news, sports, movies, and other various events through the device without leaving the comfort of their home. television is also a important device for media coverage and other events such as live broadcast of olympics or the presidential debate.

It looks like a box with a corresponding buttons (for changing channel and tuning volume), screen (for viewing), built-in speakers (for listening), and antenna (used to receive waves for good reception). Television is the most favorite appliance in ones household because it is a source of relaxation.
