yonder

  1. A slang term, generally spoken or used by country people (vs city people) denoting a general direction, usually accompanied by a vague head or hand motion to show the general direction.
    as in "can ya git me dat wrench from over yonder" or "Bill and Janet live over yonder"(in this case Bill and Janet could live 2 houses away or 20 miles away, it is subjective and dependent on the entirety of previous and subsequent comments)
